SAFETY PROFILE：

Poison by ingestion, intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes. Human systemic effects by ingestion: blood pressure elevation and sympathetic nervous system stimulation. An experimental teratogen. Mutation data reported. An anorectic drug which diminishes the appetite. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of Cl⁻ and NO_x.
