SAFETY PROFILE:

The safety informatiom of Mercurous chloride (CAS NO.7546-30-7):
Poison by ingestion and intraperitoneal routes. Moderately toxic by skin contact. Mutation data reported. A fungicide. An FDA over-the-counter drug. Incompatible with bromides, iodides, alkali chlorides, sulfates, sulfites, carbonates, hydroxides, lime water, ammonia, golden antimony sulfide, cyanides, copper salts, hydrogen peroxide, iodine, iodoform, lead salts, silver salts, sulfides. OSHA PEL: CL 0.1 mg(Hg)/m3 (skin)
ACGIH TLV: TWA 0.1 mg(Hg)/m3 (skin); BEI: 35 µg/g creatinine total inorganic mercury in urine preshift; 15 µg/g creatinine total inorganic mercury in blood at end of shift at end of workweek.
